Το Webfinger είναι ένα καινούργιο project από τα παλικάρια της Google που είναι και πίσω από το Pubsubhubbub όπου, όπως λένε θα αναβιώσουν τις μέρες του Finger protocol μέσω του HTTP αυτή τη φορά αντί για TCP. Το είδα σήμερα το πρωί από ένα tweet του Louis Gray και μπορώ να πω πως είναι αρκετά ενδιαφέρον και περιμένω να δω πως θα εξελιχθεί. Πάνω σε αυτό λοιπόν βασίστηκε και ο DeWitt Clinton όπου έφτιαξε έναν δικό του prototype client, τον A Simple WebFinger-like client.

Μια βδομάδα πριν περίπου μέσω ενός tweet του @basilakis, έπεσα πάνω στο greektuts.net. Το GreekTuts είναι ένα νέο site, το πρώτο ελληνικό που ασχολείται μόνο με web design, design, web development και WordPress tutorials. Τα παιδιά πίσω από το GreekTuts γράφουν για CSS, Flash, Illustrator, Photoshop, WordPress, Joomla, Php, Javascript και για tips ‘n tricks σχετικά με αυτά καθώς και προσφέρουν έτοιμα για download resources. Review: Desktop 2.0 using Twhirl
Since I was using Twhirl for my Twitter desktop client, I thought I could try it out for Friendfeed too. Creating the Twhirl Friendfeed profile and linking it with my Friendfeed via the Remote Key was a very quick and easy procedure. Since my inbox gets some times a bit overcrowded by mails and I have an attitude to reply immidiately or at least as soon as possible to mails and don’t want any unreads in my inbox, I have thought several times how to prevent and decrease as much as I can this from happening. I tried several ways, for example labeling each one to not doing anything at all etc but never got I a decent result. Recently, though, I came with a fantastic idea. Φτιάχνοντας ένα Social Network με το Ning
Το Σαββατοκύριακο που μας πέρασε χρειάστηκε να φτιάξω ένα website για το τμήμα μου στο σχολείο, στο οποίο θα βάζαμε τα καθήκοντα, διάφορα νέα, φωτογραφίες, το πρόγραμμα και γενικά σχετικά και μή με το σχολείο μας. Στην αρχή σκεφτόμουν για ένα blog στο Worpdress ή ένα tumblog στο Tumblr. Τελικά μέσω ένα tweet μου ο φίλος KCorax μου πρότεινε να κάνω ένα social network στο Ning. Σαν ιδέα μου άρεσε, αλλά επειδή δεν είχα ξανα-ασχοληθεί με το Ning δεν το είδα πολύ θερμά στην αρχή το θέμα. Βέβαια κατέληξα στην ιδέα του KCorax και μπορώ να πω ότι είμαι πάρα πολύ ευχαριστημένος.
