There’s an ongoing discussion in Greece lately (no, I’m not talking about the econimic crisis, debts and all this fiscal stuff). A journalist who appeared to be the founder and to maintain the most-visited blog worldwide, troktiko, was killed assassinated. Everything in troktiko was anonymous (no connection with Anonymous meme). Lot’s of people liked it and even more hated it. Despite all this, just after the assassination a conversation about internet anonymity started from journos and bloggers.

Αν και τελικά δεν μπόρεσε να έρθει στο Wordcamp ο Nikolay Bachiyski, μέλος της Automattic για να παρουσιάσει το WordPress 3.0, το έκανε αυτό για εμάς ο “δικός μας” Βασίλης στην δική του παρουσίαση. In brief τα καλά παιδιά της Automattic ετοιμάζουν ένα νέο και robust WordPress. Αλλαγές, re-builds from scratch, νέα events και άλλα, θα παρουσιαστούν έτοιμα Μάρτιο (σύμφωνα με το Roadplan) ή αρχές καλοκαιριού όπως λένε οι φήμες.

Αν και το ξέχασα, το θυμήθηκα όλως τυχαίως χθες. Όχι σαν σήμερα, αλλά στις 16 του περσινού Αυγούστου ανέβασα το πρώτο μου post σε αυτό το blog όπου ήταν και η αρχή του. Ένα χρόνο, 56 post, 19 κατηγορίες, 154 σχόλια και 52,671 spam αργότερα μπορώ να πω πως τα πράματα κυλάνε ακόμη καλύτερα και ένα μεγάλο ευχαριστώ σε όλους σας! Για το διάβασμα του blog – ναι, εσάς τους τακτικούς 30-35 rss αναγνώστες – και όσοι έχετε περάσει τυχαία από εδώ, για τα σχόλια και τα mail, σας ευχαριστώ!

Ο Ηλίας γράφει για το θέμα της φαντασίας (επικεντρωμένο στην επιστημονική πτυχή της), την τεχνολογία και το μέλλον. Η συσχέτιση με το Matrix και το Minority Report, αναπόφευκτη. Κάπου εκεί, ανάμεσα στις σκέψεις του, άφησα και εγώ ένα σχόλιο το οποίο τελικά προέκυψε ως η καλύτερη συζήτηση που είχα σε comments τα τελευταία 3 χρόνια blogging.
